The Washington Post headline (Oct 26) read "Bush Is Reassuring." Sorry, no: not factual. "Bush offers reassurances," yes. "Bush wants to reassure," yes. "Bush hopes again," yes. All of these are proveable statements. But the only people to whom a presidential utterance could remotely be reassuring are those who have already drunk the Republican Kool-Aid, as apparently the WaPo headline writer has. The rest of us remain, not skeptical, but outright disbelieving.
